Have you ever wondeed why when you read a book and then watch the movie of it, that the book is 10 times better than the movie? It's because books are ridiculously awesome! It's sad that many of us think books are boring. If I could reverse time and go back to being your age, I would have read more books. Now that I'm older, I can't stop.

One of my favorite fiction writers is Jane Austen. She has written books like Pride and Prejudice, Emma, and Sense & Sensibility. I love these books because they take me back to the late 1800s when life was simple and not so fast. Even though the old English is sometimes hard to read, it sounds so beautiful when you read it aloud.
I like percy jackson books and harry potters books, but i think Rick Riordan (percy jackson books) is one of the best authors.

If thiers a movie and it also haves a book then I perffer to read the book then to watch the actual movie. Why? Because I can imagin the charecters. Or the places!! Thats why I love reading better!!

My favorite Series book is Harry Potter. It's fiction though. I like it so much because it has wizards and witches and anything magical can happen. I mean They can fly in broom sticks and flying a ball called the snitch. It's small so the seekers (Wizards or witches who catch the snitch) has to look for it really hard. If you like Wizards and Witches,you should read the Harry Potter Series.:D:D
I don't want to sound like a nerd, but I like the Harry Potter books. I really don't know why though. Harry was 1 when he lost his parents. Now he's a wizard
i like RL.stine,not just Goosebumps, but i also love all the rest of his stories.my favorite book of his has to be the book Call Waiting its very entertaining and suprising!! :D

My favorite author is Carolyn Keen. Many of you havent herd of her. She died already. She is the author of the amazing Nancy Drew series! I love those books. My favorite on is: Nancy drew The Hidden Staircase. Its intense and misterious. How fun?

Awesome! Let's talk about Harry Potter in this comment! That series has to be one of my favorite book series of all time! The book's about a boy named Harry (of course) who lost his parents at the age of 1 and over the years, the main bad guy, named Tom Riddle, returns to power after Harry, some how survived the killing curse, and reflected from Harry's forehead and exploded. The book's wizards in it, but it does have reality in there, the situations are somewhat like situations in reality. So, yeah, book's awesome!
I think book are good for us because the books helps us more if you are learning about it.

my most favorite book is r.l. stine goosebumps go eat worms! i like that book because it's very interesting to me and some other kids who like goosebumps books i like all of the goosebumps books the one i've been trying to find is goosebumps the cry of the cat but still i like the library and books
Man, your right, whom ever posted this. When I read " Matilda", it was kinda better or should I say funnier than the movie. But sometimes I have no time to finish a book, instead I must force my self to study or do my homework and spend my day having fun. I'm not so into books, but I try.....
one of my favorite book's are the baby sitter's club but I like movie's better than book's I'm sorry but book's are good but thinking of a movie you realy want to watch is more better for my oppion I love movie's even the movies mean girl's part 1 and part 2 and I'm looking foward for part 3 and a new movie that's coming up call " HOP " I want to see it not a little book that is boring sorry.: (

i like the goosebumps books alot because i like being scared and that is one of my favorite parts of my life
I love to read books even tough some books are complicated but my favorite author is Geronimo Stilton I actually do admire Him because i love him and i almost read all the 44 he has published i wish one day i could be just like him
